  • What is Lifesaver?

    Lifesaver is a digital lost and found system. Think of it as a modern alternative to writing your name and phone number on all of your important/valuable items - but without actually sharing any personal information.

  • How does Lifesaver work?

    First, put Lifesaver stickers on anything you don’t want to lose. And register them in the app. Then go about your day as usual!
    When a tagged item goes missing, the person who finds it can now communicate with you directly via the Lifesaver app. And because it’s through the app no personal information is ever shared. Our app just matches the item to the rightful owner and enables a conversation – that’s it.
    Once the conversation is started, you decide the best way to get your item back. And you decide whether or not to share any personal information with the person who has it.

  • Why should I become a Lifesaver?

    First and foremost, to get anything lost back – quickly, efficiently, and easily. Second, of course, is to return the favor to others. You know that awesome feeling when someone finds something you were desperately looking for? Now you can be the person who gives that to others.

  • How much does Lifesaver cost?

    To accommodate varying user needs and lifestyles, we offer several plans. Check out the app for the latest deals and discounts!
    Currently subscriptions are a flat rate per year, with the option to purchase additional stickers any time.
    You can also upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time!

  • I just received my stickers. Now what?

    Just place the stickers on anything you don't want to lose and register them in the app. Here's a few resources to guide you:

  • Do I have to put a Lifesaver sticker on my items?

    Yes. The sticker confirms the item is registered with Lifesaver and it identifies you as the rightful owner (without sharing any personal information).

  • How many items can I tag with a Lifesaver sticker?

    As many as you want! There is no limit on the number of items you can tag and keep track of with Lifesaver.

  • Are Lifesaver stickers Bluetooth enabled?

    No. Bluetooth trackers work well for items lost repeatedly within a 150 ft. range.
    But Lifesaver stickers have no boundaries and they help get lost stuff back anytime, anywhere, from anyone.

  • Is my information safe?

    Absolutely. Lifesaver does not share any personal information. The app just matches the item to the rightful owner and enables a conversation – that’s it. From there, you decide the best way to get your lost item back. And you decide how much (if any) personal information to share with the person who has your lost item.

  • How does Lifesaver get my lost item back to me?

    When someone finds a lost item with a Lifesaver sticker, they use the app to identify the rightful owner. Once identified, an in-app message thread starts. Now you can communicate directly with the person who has your lost item!
    From there, you decide the best way to get your item back. And you decide whether or not to share any personal information with the person who has it.
    Lifesaver does not share personal information with either party.

  • What happens if I lose my phone?

    A lost phone can still be returned! Just sign into your Lifesaver account on another device so that you can still get alerted and communicate with the person who finds it.
